Max Keiser, a well-known advocate for Bitcoin and a staunch supporter of the cryptocurrency, has once again used his platform on Twitter to criticize Ripple, its CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and the company's native digital currency, XRP.

Keiser, who serves as an advisor on Bitcoin to the President of El Salvador, acknowledged that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may be overstepping its boundaries. However, he firmly believes that this regulatory scrutiny will ultimately lead to the demise of XRP and other similar cryptocurrencies, which he derogatorily refers to as "shitcoins." The only exception, in Keiser's view, is Bitcoin.

Furthermore, Keiser expressed his opinion that the financial industry, particularly on Wall Street, lacks effective rule of law for individuals with significant wealth and influence. He alleged that Brad Garlinghouse, in an attempt to sustain his alleged Ponzi scheme, has been investing substantial resources. Nevertheless, Keiser asserts that Garlinghouse's efforts will be futile against the combined power of the Federal authorities and influential figures like Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase.

According to Keiser, it is not a question of whether XRP will face severe repercussions, but rather a matter of when this will occur. His comments highlight his belief that the legal and regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies, particularly those that do not meet the standards set by regulators, is becoming increasingly stringent.

Max Keiser's critical remarks against Ripple and his steadfast support for Bitcoin reflect the ongoing debate within the cryptocurrency community regarding the legitimacy and future prospects of different digital assets. As the regulatory landscape continues to evolve, the fate of cryptocurrencies like XRP remains uncertain, while Bitcoin's position as the leading cryptocurrency seems unassailable in Keiser's eyes.
